So, umm, yeah.... 25,000 views. That's definitely something...

In all seriousness though, major thanks to everyone who has helped this page to reach such a big milestone! When I first came to discover DeviantART, I had only been a casual viewer and purveyor of art, with only dreams of hopefully becoming an artist myself.

As time passed, I began to see that with some dedicated practice and work with super-imposing my favorite characters with various pieces, I could step into creating fun pieces of fan-art dedicated to my favorite shows. And to think, all of that began with a simple Terra x BeastBoy pic in the light of the moon... lol.

Now it's been eight years since that day, and thanks to all of your kind words and favorites chosen, I have come to discover my passion for graphics art, design, and 3D model-manipulation. Not only that, but I now discover that this is a field I hope to pursue full-time and make a career out of in the future. 

But in the grand scheme of things, all those accolades and kind words, all go back to the One who bestowed these abilities onto me... my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. In my heart of hearts, I know it is because of Him I am even able to share the messages I have and showcase these pieces, each of which have also been influenced by so many more talented artists here.

Anyway, that's enough of my rambling... lol. Thanks once more everyone! I have some new pieces that will be set to debut pretty soon, including a special tribute pic thanking you for all your support, so keep an eye out.

Amazing how often you can go without remembering that this journal option exists... lol. 

Anyways, thought I would let everyone know, I will be undergoing a period of time where I will not have my laptop or iPad running. As part of the celebration of Easter and the sacrifice of Jesus Christ, a practice by the disciples during that time involves fasting without food for a short period of time.

However, for me, I've decided to undertake a different kind of fasting, by putting away my laptop and iPad for 30 days during this period. Not only will this be a time of reflection and honor to Christ for His sacrifice for mankind, but also a period of learning how to not always depend on my technology to get through the day. A lot of this is based on compulsive habits which I desire to change in my life.

As a result, I won't be undertaking any new projects for a little while. That said though, please don't hesitate to still send requests or suggestions my way, as I will review requests when I'm back up and running again.

Hey there everyone! Sorry for such a long absence. Seeing as we are close to the day of honoring the sacrifice of Jesus Christ that is Easter Sunday, I chose to take a three week fasting off of my laptop to go deeper into God's word. 

It's amazing just how much at first it can feel like you're cutting yourself off from something so vital, when in fact, there are other things that are far more vital in life. But am glad that I can get back online once more, and am prepared to put together and share some great new works that inspired me over the three weeks I've been offline.
