Man, it's too bad Dec. 25th can't get here any faster this year! :S I'm on pins and needles waiting for Code Lyoko: Rebirth to hit YouTube and bring back our favorite characters in their continuing journey.
But alas, even with the wait, that only serves as excellent time to continue producing new work. Though for this piece, this came from a bit of inspiration after listening to a song I'd imagine many know by now. Everytime We Touch by Cascada has always been one of my favorite songs, and has always served as a song that has given me newfound inspiration to create romantic pics of my favorite characters. This time around, seeing as I'm in another Jerlita state of mind, I thought I'd share a piece that has combined a lot of different techniques of art into one.
In this piece, I've given the simple backdrop of our two favorite nerd lovers holding each other close as they drift off into a peaceful slumber. But seeing as I'm in the middle of bootcamp for web and UI Design, I decided to implement some experimentation with some meticulous brush-strokes and line-art. Considering there are absolutely no imported graphics or backgrounds for this piece, this is more of an original artwork that I'm proud of putting together. Let's just say, it's been a busy two days... lol.
