Holy Arrival

Here's to You Lord Jesus,
On this o-so special day,
As we gather to celebrate that silent night,
In the manger as you lay,
Your intentions so loving and merciful,
As you entered our world so impure,
You came to the Earth, a child so mild,
Here to save mankind's future,
The scene was so beautiful,
As Heaven rejoiced so loud,
Your mission to save us from sin, had now begun,
You had done Your Father so proud,
As everyone stood around You,
The light of Heaven shined bright as can be,
They proclaimed You as Savior and King,
While You slept and dreamt so carefree,
But while Christmas does come but once a year,
We must always celebrate that day You came,
For each day we live, is a living testament,
To Your glorious advent all the same,
So next time you contemplate the meaning of Christmas,
Think not of gifts, or Santa, or the snow that may fall,
Instead remember Christ's Holy arrival,
As His infinite love, would soon prove to be… the greatest gift of all
